Barry Patterson

Founder and Managing Director

Barry Patterson is a seasoned financial professional with over 25 years of experience in operational and investment banking. He has worked across a variety of industries, including real estate, technology, media, consumer goods, and energy specializing in complex restructuring, forensic accounting, balance sheet restructuring, and litigation support. Mr. Patterson holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Laws from Natal University in Durban, South Africa, as well as a National Technical certificate in Mechanical Engineering from Johannesburg Technical College.

Elisa Stewart

Chief Counsel

Elisa is a tenacious and multifaceted corporate counsel with a breadth of experience uniquely forged from her beginnings as a public defender and criminal litigator then differentiated as both a chief compliance officer and business operator in highly regulated industry segments. Her 30+ years of experience has made Elisa adept at navigating the complicities of business formation, licensing, permitting, government affairs, IP/ Trademark, contracts and employment law at US State, National and also International (EU) levels. Elisa is a graduate of John Jay College of Criminal Justice (NY) and received her JD from Northeastern Law School. She is a member of the California, New York, and New Jersey Bar associations as well as qualified to bring cases before the US Supreme Court and Several US district courts.

Ted is a Distinguished Honor Graduate from the United States Military Academy at West Point in 1994 with a B.S.E. in Quantitative Economics and a concentration in System Engineering. Following graduation he served for three years as a Lieutenant in the United States Army, earning both Airborne and Ranger qualifications. Ted has worked in private equity, merchant banking, and investment banking for such firms as Salomon Smith Barney, UBS Warburg, Thomas Weisel Partners, and for a joint venture with Goldman Sachs.

 

Darren Feher

Managing Director

An Emmy award winning media technologist and entrepreneur, Darren is a proven operator, CEO, CTO, Board Member and Venture capitalist with a 30 year career leading global media and internet companies from Seed to Public in New York, Hollywood and Silicon Valley. A Veteran and West Point grad, he honed his corporate skills at GE and as EVP, CTO for NBC Universal where he led the global technology operation for Film, TV and Digital. He was a driving force in many industry firsts including the creation of Hulu, Superbowls, Olympics, and Elections coverage and 6 buy-side acquisitions. As an entrepreneur, Darren has founded or run several early and growth stage VC backed companies and raised nearly $100M in capital from a diverse set of institutional investors. He brings a wealth of leadership, financial discipline, fund raising, operating process, data and software acumen to CPF.

Is a highly experienced financial professional with an MBA from Texas A&M University and a BA from Texas Tech University. He earned his Chartered Financial Analyst Charter in 2003 and holds multiple securities licenses, including Series 7, 63, 79 FINRA Securities Licenses, and a CPA 20 Brazilian Securities License. His career includes key roles at Credit Agricole CIB/Credit Agricole Securities, where he served from 2001 to 2016 in positions such as Vice President of Corporate Banking, Director of Food and Agribusiness, and Managing Director. Prior to this, he was an Officer at Texas Capital Bank, focusing on mid-sized company banking relationships. Matt’s expertise lies in private investment structuring and advisory services, demonstrating strong leadership and adaptability in the financial sector. grad, he honed his corporate skills at GE and as EVP, CTO for NBC Universal where he led the global technology operation for Film, TV and Digital. With a B.A. in Communication Arts & Sciences from Pennsylvania State University, Nancy’s career spans a range of roles across administration, hospitality, retail, and international business. At Central Park Financial since August 2012, Nancy has been managing various administrative tasks. Previously, at Deutsche Bank, her responsibilities included client account research and managing front desk operations. In the hospitality sector, she worked as an Office Assistant at Morimoto Waikiki Restaurant, and in retail, she progressed to a management role at Ann Taylor. Nancy’s international business skills were honed at Nextime America, Inc., where she focused on contract negotiations and business development. She also handled logistics and data entry at Evermetal, Inc. Nancy is proficient in Korean and skilled in using Microsoft Office Suite.

Tammy is well-versed in litigation preparation for both criminal and civil cases, legal calendaring, and case filings. With an educational background that includes an Ordination as an Interfaith Minister from The New Seminary in NYC, a Master of Theological Studies from Pacific School of Religion in Berkeley, and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Queens College, NY, Tammy brings a unique blend of skills and perspectives to her role. She is also a licensed California Real Estate Agent and proficient in legal software, Adobe, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
